Why would I do it?
Because you are never too old
to pursue a dream
and try something new.

This will be my food blog
where I document the experience
of going through a year
of culinary school.

I’ll be 51 when I graduate, but
if I hide under a sofa
for the next twelve months,
I’ll still be a year older
at the end of it.

So, I’d rather be 51
with a good set of knives
and cooking skills
instead of sneezing off
dust bunnies.
